2025, what a year!

Hello everyone!
It has been many months since I've written and it is already the end of 2025! I went into this year starting off really rough and I had my own personal difficulties to navigate through, but I still wanted so much for my photography business. And that, I did receive. Not only did I book some of the best friends and family as clients, but I was able to connect with so many people and network. It has made me re-evaluate my business differently and see other opportunities that I could make out of my work.
I was able to stick through with some routines. I was consistent with my social media postings. After every session, I created reels, which have been a very fun process and engagement. I love seeing them all come together. I may not have put into practice Mini-Sessions but I think it may not be for me at the moment due to my capacity.
As much as I worked hard this year, I also realized my own capacity and the need to rest at times. I am a known workaholic, but this year I realized it is not so much about the work anymore. I just want to be able to be at peace and flow with my work and life. I am living life with more intentions and mindfulness. It may not be the most "profitable" mindset but I want to be able to sustain my art and craft longer because of this.
Other than that, I am proud of the work and profit that I brought in this year. It is the most I've ever had since starting photography. I have had many happy and celebratory moments this year. And it is the biggest thanks to you all. Thank you for watching and supporting my growth and business.
Next year is my 10th year since I've started it all. 10 years is big! I mean not that I am planning anything big, or at least I haven't thought of anything yet. But I'll let you know if I do.
2025 may have been a difficult year for you and for some, but I hope you take the time to reflect and pat yourself on the back for making it through. May we all continue to thrive and fill our lives with love and joy.
Happy New Year to you and your family.
With so much love and gratitude, May See Yang.
