May See Yang was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin. She is currently 34 years old and living in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since 2016, she self-started her photography business working with friends, family, and local creatives. She specializes in portrait, lifestyle, events and weddings. Her style can be versatile, light, moody, candid and documentary. In 2020, she decided to have a more intentional focus on photographing underrepresented communities and cultural events.
In May 2024, she self-published her first photo book, My Mother's Earth, a poignant look at a pandemic-era farmers market journey through her lens. This captivating photo book skillfully portrays her mother's dedication, hard work, and unwavering spirit as she navigates the challenges of sustaining her family and community.
She is currently the Community Organizing Manager at the Hmong American Women's Association.​
